Raj Scanning Ltd. was incorporated in the year 1994 with the support of various professionals in the field of Healthcare and it was followed by an entire range of modalities to create a comprehensive state-of-the art facilities. We believe in delivering world class healthcare services through our cancer hospital known as Lucknow Cancer Institute and three diagnostic centres with latest equipment.
LUCKNOW CANCER INSTITUTE: THE GENESIS
A study for healthcare was conducted in June 1997 with specific reference to setting up a Cancer Hospital in Lucknow. The study indicated the urgent need for a specialized and dedicated hospital at a centralized place like Lucknow, complete with the facilities of Radiotherapy, Brachytherapy, Onco-Surgery, and Chemotherapy. Accordingly, the hospital, named Lucknow Cancer Institute came into existence in the year 2001.Lucknow Cancer Institute is a comprehensive Cancer Care Centre, complete with necessary and most modern diagnostic and treatment facilities under one roof. The Hospital Philosophy embodies mainly the following elements-
Being in the service sector, the Hospital emphasizes the need to build a support with the patients through its dedicated services, quality of treatment, empathy, compassion and professionalism.
The Hospital is ideally located in the well developed central area of the capital city of Lucknow, at a distance of about 2 km from the main commercial area and about 6 km from the main Railway station, and is well connected with the roads having other infrastructural facilities, required for a modern health care centre.
The Hospital provides facilities for Radiotherapy, Onco-Surgery, and Chemotherapy, including Day-Care, Palliative care and Pain clinics. It has general special and deluxe wards, having a capacity of 50 beds, for the indoor patients.
Our medical experts have so far treated over 21000 cancer patients.
